    超大揭示板-We designed the iso-grid in a way that when all the pieces interlock, they friction fit extremely well. This meant that once we inserted a piece it was properly wedged in and didn't really require the need of glue.As the core is being sandwiched between to acrylic plates one doesn't need glue at all.

As for the simulation, you may know that fusion 360 does not offer a direct "cardboard material" so it led us to create a custom material and set the various parameters such as the Young's Modulus and the Shear Modulus by googling experimental mechanical values for cardboard. And the load that we added to create the 32mm deformation was 1000N, or equivalent...

And the load that we added to create the 32mm deformation was 1000N, or equivalent to approximately a 100kg person standing in the center of the board.But as you can see from the video that is attached these simulations were not too accurate but were good enough to give us a rough idea.
